Wally Nissen, M.A., LUTCF, ChFC®,CLU®
I have been a registered securities representative and financial advisor since 1997. I graduated from St. Ambrose University in 1968 with B.A. degree with a major in economics and a minor in political science. I served in the Army from 1968 to 1970, I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1972 with an M.A. degree in economics. I owned two automotive parts stores, Hondl Co. and Olsen Auto Parts and an automotive warehouse, K.H. Nissen Dist. Co., which were sold in 1996. I started with the Principal Financial Group in 1997 and am currently an independent broker. I have earned the LUTCF designation as well as the completion of the CFP® Certification Professional Education Program from the College for Financial Planning. I have completed studies at The American College earning the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation as well as Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) . I have completed FINRA Series 6, 7, 65 and 66 securities registrations, which allow me to offer securities and fee-based planning services. I also have an insurance license with lines of authority including accident, health, life, variable life and variable annuities.
